Gawith, Hoggarth & Co. Kendal Mixed Shag - Aromatic ( Rose)
(1.00)
Kendal Mixed is a tobacco which if smoked with a little care, rewards the smoker with an earthy and sweet hay like smoke. A sweet rose topping is added, for an almost turkish delight flavour. A nice medium strength tobacco, which is ideal for those looking for a cheap daytime tobacco and it doesn’t matter if you only smoke half a bowl. Great for those moving from cigarettes to the pipe.

Gawith Hoggarth - Kendal Mixed Shag Rose.
When I took the baggie from my jar of samples I couldn't make out what type of aromatic it said it was, rose, chocolate, vanilla etc but it became clear upon smelling the blend, whoa that's definitely roses!
I get mine lit and the taste is a mirror image of the smell, roses, roses, roses! To be fair the tobacco taste is totally lost, the floral casing is way too heavy for it to be acknowledged! The nicotine is at a level that suits me, it's not enough to make my head spin but likewise it doesn't leave me wanting more. It gives a good burn all the way that only desists if it's neglected. I get a room note that is really floral, again like the taste any tobacco seems redundant!
Certain blends are virtually offensive to me and sadly this is one!
One star.
