As a MYO- excellent quality. Costs a little more than some other brands. Great turkish flavor. Really reminds me of the old camel straights. Real turkish tobacco flavor. I actually like this better than the more expensive D and R offerings which, by the way, are mostly excellent. Have smoked in a cob, tightly packed with a filter, could be an all day smoke. Nothing spectacular, just a solid good quality tobacco. 8 Oz for appx 7 dollars is a great deal. Blows the doors off of OHM turkish red for just a few bucks more. Recommended.

When i got this, it was a little dry for the pipe. I rolled it into a cigarette and the taste was OK. However, when I hydrated it properly, the flavor really came alive. This is different from most pipe cut tobaccos of this sort; most do much better in paper rather than a pipe. A small cob works best. The pouch aroma is sweet Turkish, but the the smoke is a hearty Virginia. It burns down to a fine ash and jumps out of the bowl. The aroma will not win any friends. I like the smaller bags even if this makes this stuff more expensive per ounce. I find you need this to be as fresh as possible. Yes, it is better than OHM and 4 Aces similar Turkish offerings. Peter Stokkebye Turkish Export is superior to this, but it has a much higher price.
