I stand to be corrected, but this blend is a South African blend, distributed by van Eerkoms. Its apparently made-up of Virginia, Burley and Latakia and flavoured. Like the other blends, it also comes in a long rag cut; dark tobacco with medium strength.
The tobacco jar has a clear mouldy cellar smell combined with the typical Latakia woody-smoky smell on the nose. On the palate, the unmistakable Latakia / oriental flavours coming through. It leaves a tolerable smoky tobacco room note which not everyone loves. The smell brings back old memories of pipe smoking flavours hanging in the air.
