Mild Mild to Medium Mild to Medium Very Pleasant

The Virginia is a little grassy with a touch of citrus. The toasty bright cavendish doesn't add much flavor, but there is some vanilla from the toasted black cavendish. The black cherry topping is sweet and very slightly tart, and doesn't weaken. Hardly has any nicotine. Burns at a reasonable pace, clean and cool with a smooth, consistent flavor. Leaves a little moisture, but no goop or dottle. No bite, nice after taste and room note. An all day smoke.

Medium Strong Full Very Pleasant

Century Black Cherry. The ribbon cut of this appears a little hectic as the the pieces are very sporadic in size. The aroma is very enchanting and has an awesome cherry hit to it. Moistness is a little too much and I think perhaps a little extra airing would ameliorate it for smoking. Once lit I found the cherry to be too predominant as it tended to mask the tobacco flavors a touch and it did taste very sweet. It also had a bit of bite for me. I found the nicotine level to be good as it is about the strength of Sam Gawith Black Cherry. The burn is even, giving a white ash. The room note is quite strong of cherries, like the unlit aroma. It would not make an all day smoke for me as it is too sweet and false tasting.
