I would classify this blend as an American-English aromatic. The burley is most prominent with the Virginia added for smoothness. The latakia plays a lesser role, but is there in every puff. The rum adds a light sweetness and mellows the blend. It burns cool and dry to the bottom of the bowl and leaves a fine powder. The taste remains constant throughout the bowl. I think Sutliff did a masterful job creating this mixture and I emailed them to let them know.
Update: Add 2 or 3% perique for a touch of spice. Update: I ordered a pound of this after going through my initial 4 ounces. I found that three months of aging gives the tobaccos time to meld and greatly improves an already excellent blend. I like it best on the dry side. This has become an everyday favorite.
