This is has to be my all time favourite pure burley flake. Period. One of those offerings from Orlik that is no longer available which is a shame. Perhaps one of our Dansih friends can comment as I had to add this very special tobacco to the Tobacco Reviews data base and there seems to be no information on it anywhere. I first bought this on a hunch from a tobacconist in London a few years back and then bought the last tin via mail order soon after, only to find out it was discontinued.
Dunbar Flake beats my second favourite Burley - Edgeworth RR - hands down. Nothing on the tin or the appearance of the typical brown flakes within can prepare the smoker for what is to come. Rich, smooth pure burley flavour, with a hint of caramel and the renowned nuttiness. It's a little fuller than typical burleys, yet exceedingly smooth and has no obvious sign of excessibe casing or dressing. Overall a lovely all day smoke I would not tire of in a hurry.
