Hairy Larry, produced by McClelland's, is actually a blend that the late Barry Levin created back in the late 1980s or early 90's. You can even find this blend on McClelland's tins with the "Levin Pipes International" label. The Virginia is far in the background (top quality McClelland's style), and the two types of Latakia combine to make for a semi-sweet, smoky presentation. I was not totally enamored with this one but would not turn down a free bowl of the stuff.
