At initial light, I immediately get the nutty dryness of burley. There is a pleasant, but not overwhelming sweetness. There are hints of fruitiness, faintly reminiscent of Juicy Fruit gum, overlaid with mild vanilla. The burley isn't biting me as badly as usual; just a tad of numbness on the tip of my tongue. Two-thirds of the way through the bowl find the smoke with less flavor. It is still in the background, but less “juicy.” I tend to be more of a straight virginia and vaper smoker, and aros are typically avoided. This one has been blended with a light hand. Milan Tobacco does a good job with their aromatics. A relight destroys the subtle flavors, and brings out an acrid taste. Dumped the bottom of the bowl.
