I've started smoking a pipe as a hobby, then it became a habit, and soon enough a lifestyle. A life of adventure and relaxation at the same time. Unfortunately here in Hungary the pipe tobacco palette is not very wide, but this ca. 30-40 blends I'll try there and back, and try to give my opinion based on my habits to anyone interested, including drink pairings, day phases and weather.
Why, you'd ask. Although sometimes I prefer solitude, but I feel sharing my thoughts and reading others' is part of the journey.

Mostly using local pipes made by Szabó at Nagykőrös. I used to have some "no-name" brands briars when I started but by now I appreciate the quality. Most of my pipes were/are bent apples, I have a bent chimney for non-AROs and a Lovat dedicated for Irish Dew. I also plan to have at least one volcano shaped individual and a Chacom churchwarden.
I also have a home-made tiny corncob which is made by one of my cigarette smoker friend, as a form of gratitude for giving him cherry ambrosia.
