I first picked up pipe about 15 years ago. I found it enjoyable, but information and resources weren't there. I had a hiatus of a few years and have gone a bit crazy, since. In those early times, Capt'n Black was king. An MM cherry wood, Grabow Omega, and a cob comprised my arsenal. I'm glad that isn't any longer the case. Also glad I picked up a nice Peterson Dublin sitter before I put down the pipe.

I now prefer medium to heavy English blends, but want to try EVERYTHING. Don't let my low number of reviews fool you; I've got quite a few under my belt. I could smoke Squadron Leader and Modern Virginia all day long, with Nightcap or SPC's Plum Pudding in the evening; maybe some Billy Budd... The reviews will come.

My pipe collection has grown to a modest 20, or so, and I now keep a cellar of a few £s and a few score of tins. We're getting there...
