I've been smoking a pipe for 50 years and have tried a lot of different blends in a lot of different pipes. Smoking a pipe is a famiIy tradition. My dad smoked a pipe as did his dad. Sadly my sister threw out all of my dad's pipes when he died. I was only able to save one of his pipe pouches. I am fortunate to be married to a woman who tolerates my smoking and will even occasionally buy me some tobacco.

I think that I can safely conclude (for myself, anyway) that G.L. Pease blends are the absolute best I have ever tried. They are tasty, quality blends concocted by a master blender! Great tobacco! There are of course many many tobaccos that I really enjoy. I lean toward virginia /perique and balkan mixes. Don't much care for aromatics.

Reading tobaccos reviews is something I find very entertaining. Individual tastes vary greatly and no one review(er) should be taken as the gospel truth. Read through 10 to 15 different reviews on a blend and then try the blend if it sounds like something you might enjoy. Then -you- decide!
