It was wonderful to be 19 and buy my first pipe at The Tinder Box in Mesquite, TX in the days when they had a large wall display of fine pipes, a long counter full of tinned tobaccos, and a room with jars of bulk tobacco, and not one collectible figurine anywhere to be seen.
