Planta - Golden Vanilla.
The name Golden Vanilla suggests, obviously, the blend will be golden in colour. This, however, I found not the case when I looked inside the pouch. It does contain some golden pieces but the majority of the blend is a 50/50 split between black and medium brown pieces of quite short tobacco. An area that is identical to what the name implies is the aroma from said pouch; the smell instantly makes me believe there has been a hefty quantity of vanilla included.
The weight of the vanilla concurs with this at the beginning of the smoke but it dies down after about 5 minutes. It's still present but a lot calmer.
After a very short while quite a low feature identifies itself: the speed of the burn. It's a shame as it would be a great flavour to relax with but it's over in a flash!
I don't get much nicotine from this, it doesn't even creep any higher than mild even if it's puffed hard.
The room note is quite heavy. That, combined with the amount of smoke it manufactures makes for an experience I don't really enjoy!
The market is swamped with vanilla aro's, of which most are far superior to this. That said, I can't recommend this.
One star.
