Slightly edited from Synjeco's website: This blend tastes like a good spicy, robust cigar of a high quality. The smell is 100% natural, and the taste starts as a bit bitter and then [carries] you into a host of intriguing smoking dimensions. As it is cut very fine, it burns rather fast, though [evenly]. People who roll their own could find a treasure in this blend.

There's a spice note that reminds me of the kind in MacBaren Virginia #1, without the chance of bite. The Maryland is nutty, toasty with a light spice note, with some earth. Being that Maryland is an off shoot of burley, and this could be of African origin, it has more strength than other Marylands I have smoked. I think a little Kentucky is present, which would explain the light woodiness. There’s a small Virginia aspect as well: a few blades of grass, citrus, and the barest hint of honey, though I only sporadically notice the latter. The cut is short ribbon, and the tobacco colors are medium bright with some brown. Needs a little hydration, burns a little fast, but cool and clean. I recommend puffing at a moderate rate for best effect, though it doesn't bite or get harsh. Could be used as RYO, but I consider that to be waste of high quality tobaccos in this case. An all day smoke with a little body, and a shade over mild nic-hit. Leaves no moisture in the bowl, and has a consistent flavor with a nice after taste. Hardly needs a relight.
