This is a very unassuming, low-key Cavendish, blend with extremely mild coffee flavoring, and a hint of cocoa, maybe a touch of vanilla. Extremely easy-going. Perfect for when you want something that is comfortable and not going to knock your socks off.

The Virginia cavendish provides light grass, sugar, honey, and a little tart citrus. The nutty, earthy, woody, lightly molasses sweet burley often takes a small lead over the Virginia. The mild coffee topping sublimates the tobaccos a bit without drowning them out. The coffee isn’t strong, but has a slight richness. The nicotine level is fairly mild. The strength is mild, and the taste level is a couple of steps past that mark. Won’t bite or get harsh, but has a few small rough notes. May need a very short dry time. Burns cool and clean at a reasonable pace with a very smooth, mostly consistent flavor from start to finish. Leaves little moisture in the bowl, and requires an average number of relights. Has a lightly lingering pleasant after taste and room note. It’s an all day smoke. Two and a half stars.

This is a very nice, lightly sweet & mild aromatic offerring from Peretti. And while the pouch note suggests a much sweeter smoke, the flavor when lit is primarily that of mild high quality tobacco with just a hint of added flavor. I can't say that the aroma reminds me of coffee, but the room note is pleasing.
What I admire most about this mixture is how well it performs. It's easy to keep lit, smokes cool with no bite or bitterness. Furthermore, it's completely forgiving of cadence. This is what I would call good "Shop Tobacco." It's perfect for those times when you want to clench a lit pipe while working away on a project, creating plumes of sweet "pipey" smoke along the way.
Smokes superb in a cob.

Marvelous blend! It's another league in aromatics. It has a delicious coffee taste that lasts all the smoke. The coffee flavor is remarkable, but not overwhelming. I think, for me, it's the best aromatic ever tried.

Coffee Blend
Blend notes: “A tobacco for the true coffee lover. A pleasant mild tobacco with a mellow sweetness and distinct coffee aroma.”
A delicious albeit mild aromatic. Hints of cocoa and coffee both with sweetness on the palate. Easy lights and paced burning. This is a good blend. The underlying tobacco is there as well as the flavor and neither fight for dominance.
As with all tobacco it goes to what one wants. This is a three star offering for my tastes; when I reach for an aromatic, I want stronger flavoring. Even so, a cup of strong coffee nearby only adds to the experience. No one will run from the room.
Byron’s Burley Morning Pipe would be another blend to consider if this blend works for you.
3 out of 4 stars.

I purchased 8 ounces of this based on the description and reviews and I am glad that I did. It came in a pant can, tightly packed and, then I opened the can, I was greeted by a sweet, tobacco/coffee aroma which was truly a delight to the senses. I found a bright, ribbon cut tobacco which had just the right amount of moisture. I packed it into deep bowl, african block meerschaum and I almost needed to rub it out as it had been so tightly paced in the can. I poked a vent hole and lit up. It burned through with two relights which were, truth be told, probably more due to my inattentiveness while working than the tobacco. This was a nice long smoke. The tobacco smokes steady and cool. It was neither "bitey" nor harsh at all. I found the burely and cavendish to complement one another just right and I actually got a nice "coffee" taste behind the scenes. It was readily apparent that I was smoking a rich, high quality tobacco here and that it was well worth the price point. It was reminiscent of OVTC Gettysburg but better. I found this to pair very well with a cup of Cameron's "Highlander Grog" coffee and this will certainly become a staple in my cellar. I highly recommend,

Great stuff here. A wife pleaser for sure.
The tin smell is out of this world. It's a pleasure to look at and bury your nose in the tin inhale deeply.
Charring light produces a nice, thick, blue-white smoke and releases a coffee aroma that is fantastic. If I knew how to pack a pipe well, This blend would be on autopilot and produce a hassle free, delightful smoke.
The room note later is great. There is a great coffee presence that is gone by the next day.
The only reason I didn't give this four stars is because I smoked too much of it within a 24 hour period. This will be a fantastic rotation smoke but, not an all day blend.
EDIT: I initially gave this blend 3 stars because I kinda OD'd on it but, that's my fault not the blends fault. Highly recommended!

A very pleasant smoke, coffee and cavendish blend together perfectly… such complimentary flavors. It’s light but flavorful. I was surprised my first few bowls burned so well, no relights and a clean ending.

This is a great coffee blend and was exactly what I was looking for. I wanted an aromatic with a coffee flavor that also still had some tobacco flavor. I do think this leans more to the coffee flavor than the tobacco, but it's not over done. It burns well and is not goopy, nor does it leave too much of an aromatic ghost in the pipe. You can tell an aromatic was smoked in the pipe, but it won't ruin your favorite briar. It's a great no fuss, easy on the tongue blend when you want an aromatic.

I'm a big fan of Peretti's tobaccos, both aromatic and non. Coffee is an aromatic done right. The aroma when opening the tin is exquisite. Coffee and a light fruity aroma greet your nose. But it's not until you light it that it's true nature comes out. This is a very balanced tobacco! Yes, the casing is there but so is the tobacco flavor and taste! (I taste Burley and some Virginia) It lights easily, stays lit very well and burns to a fine gray ash with little or no dottle. If you like aromatics, this is a winner!
