Taste is pleasant. Good everyday smoking tobacco. No flavor that I could detect. Similar to other black Cavendish I've smoked and can't say if I prefer it to the others or not.

A very plain black cavendish. One dimensional smoke that tastes pretty much the same from beginning to end. A slight nuttiness towards the last third of the bowl is about the only change that comes through.
I find it a pleasant variation from the Virginia forward blends that I usually smoke. As advertised I experienced no tongue bite despite smoking it rather aggressively. It does burn quite cool and requires a few relights (packing style dependent).
A good early morning smoke in winter when I want to ease into the day.
1 year later (well almost): Having matured this tobacco for about 9 months and given it an other go, I cant help but removing a star. Not much has changed other than my palate and my feeling towards pipe cleanliness. I have been smoking very little cavendish of late and that fact and the mess cavendish can make in a pipe has put me off this cool smoking mixture. Still its not bad tobacco but not to my taste.

This is a typical dark smooth Black Cavendish. Less flavourful than another Black Cavendish I've smoked and not to sweet. Pleasant room note and a cool burning tobacco.
