Wonderful VaPer. Prefers a dense pack (not tight) I used the Frank Method after not having much success with other methods. The tobacco came alive. It starts with a sharp almost sour note on the light up that blends in with the wonderful Virginia flavor that develops through the bowl. It likes a tall bowl that allows the flavor to mature. A snork will reveal the spicy dark fruit that the Perique is laying down in the background. As the bowl progresses, the profile shifts to deeper flavors, but never bites. Just good honest tobacco taste. If you like an all day VaPer do yourself a favor and grab a pouch.

A sleeper VaPer, in my opinion. Uhle's may be known for their Burley blends but this Virginia/Perique combination was refined and not overwhelming. It did remind me of Escudo to a small degree, in that their was a fine flavor of the two tobaccos, but where Escudo is mild in the strength department, this one is a little heavier on the pedal.
