I really enjoy cavendish tobaccos and this is no exception!
A smooth smoke that was not to difficult to light and keep lit. No tongue bite and it did not make the room unbearable either. This is a special occasion tobacco or an everyday smoke. Not the cheapest tobacco, but also not unaffordable. I will most definitely be keeping a pouch in my humidor.

There seems to be some confusion between this blend an Holland House Aromatic, so I have created a seperate listing.
This tobacco is mainly Black Cavendish with some Brights added. The pouch smell is almonds, caramel, licorice and liqueur. Once lit, the taste is mainly caramel and mild tobacco, with just the slightest licorice and Amaretto (almond) notes making their appearance. The sweetness is subtle, not overbearing.
The room note is very pleasant. Caramel and incense. Light, sweet and somewhat exotic.
This tobacco starts out very mild but picks up fullness as the bowl progresses. I found it more rewarding than most other Black Cavendishes I have smoked. Downsides, for me, are an acid or bitter taste and a mild tongue bite when overpuffed. Not enough to take away a star though.
Not a regular smoke for me but a very good tobacco in its genre.

I totally agree with Room Note Professor and would just like to add: I've found this tobacco to smoke very easily. It stays lit with no fuss and appreciates sipping as opposed to chugging. I've found that the flavours seem to fade quickly if it dries out too much though.

What a stunning tobacco. The pouch note translated very clearly to the taste. If it had to be summed up with one flavour, it would most definitely be licorice. Sweet licorice.
For nearly a year this has been my all day smoke. With a full taste it would carry me through the evenings, yet in some way not be offensively strong in the morning. Typical of cavendish, it is creamy and tastes nothing like burning plant matter at all.
The room note was quite an amazing experience. It smells like a tobacco shop. The old, rich, humid and flavourful scent of most any tobacco shops. I was very much taken aback by this.
Highly recommended. In many ways my favourite "cheap yet not cheap" tobacco.
Edit: Do not let this dry out nor smoke it dry. It easily became the worst tobacco I ever smoked. Tongue bite to something similar like sulphuric acid and it burns fast (yet not hot).
