Once uppon a time I was making my ordinary shopping and thougth that I'll try this hungarian tobacco speciality. At home I opened the stuff. It was dry enough to smoke, so I did it. The smoke was rich by virginias and the favoring wasn't so strong and in the midle of the smoking, the flavoring just ended and I can taste and enjoy the taste of the artificially fermented tobacco with some cigarish shades. I recommend it for pipers, who can enjoy a very simple tobacco. I think, it's a tipical summer night tobacco.

A very inexpensive mixture from Hungary. Comparably bright, bronze colored Virginias with around 1/3 of black cavendish, in typical pipe tobacco cut: medium length (~3 cm) and not too thin, perfect moisture even after some weeks. Pouch note is reminiscent of brown sugar and natural tobacco. Packs and lits easily, burns comparably quick. Flavor profile similar to McBaren's Scottish, though less sauced. Very pleasant room note, and very close to real tobacco taste without being cigarette-ish. This is how light aromatic pipe tobacco should taste like, and those who like McBaren's Navy Flake, Larsen's 50/80, Davidoff's Danish Mixture or Germain's No. 7 should definitely try Jacht Club if they get their hands on it. All others: if you see it, get it and have a try. It is an inexpensive blend that is way better than its price would suggest. Not an overly exciting blend, but a tobacco mixture that does not disappoint. Highly recommended, and 4.5 of 5 stars from me 😉
