first set something straight, my pouch says made in denmark. it is a basic dutch baai product as there are many in holland, and many differ slightly. packing your pipe is a breeze as is lighing it. stays lit with minimal attention. the taste is sweet, tobacco, and a little " tangy" no complexity here, although the topflavour is honey, i did not detect it at all. it is applied very gently. smoke it slow will bring you the most satishfaction. certainly not for aromatic lovers

The blend commes from STG. The firm owns a shop in Amsterdam selling 'own's blends'. That Van Dyck Mixture is close to the Spinoza's favourite they sell in the shop. All this to say we have here a traditionnal Dutch blend. Not too strong and appropriate for the chain-smoking guy. Aromatic is light and room note quite good as far as what I hear at home.
