Holy Cow, what a smoke! I swear I thought that I was smoking Balkan Sobranie 759 with just a little less tang and actually smoother Orientals. I first tried this blend a few years ago at the Kansas City Pipe Show when Dr. Fred Hanna (noted lover of this blend), passed around free samples. It was love at first light! Again, as a comparison with BS 759, I found Marcovich to burn a little cooler and didn't need as many relights toward the bottom of the bowl (something #759 was notorious for). Smooth as silk, a little strength for us cowboys, and the kind of refinement the King of England would appreciate. This long gone classic was a pure pleasure and I am on the lookout for more!
