The Virginia offers some grass and citrus as it forms the base of the blend. The toasted, nutty, earthy, slightly molasses sweet burley is a supporting player. The Java and Oriental provide a fair amount dryness, some earth and wood, a little floralness, spice and a slightly butter sweetness. The brown sugar from the unsweetened black cavendish gently smooths out potential rough edges, though a couple still remain. Has a mild nic-hit, and no bite. Burns at a moderate rate, cool, clean and reasonably smooth with a very consistent flavor. Leaves very little moisture in the bowl, and requires few relights. Has a nice after taste. Can be an all day smoke for the experienced English smoker.

This blend has a flavour akin to cigarette tobacco. I found it to be burley forward, and it is not an all day smoke. It bites when smoked too quickly or frequently. If you desire a bowl that is reminiscent of cigarettes then this is a fantastic blend for you. I have a friend who loves the stuff. For me personally, I want something different from my pipe tobaccos.
