Created to celebrate the golden anniversary of the Carey pipe, this is a wonderful pipe tobacco blend of golden African Virginias, burleys and mild black cavendish flavored with aromatic nougat essences. Unique vanilla and chocolate flavors elicit the excellent taste, aroma and smoking quality characteristic of this mild blend. A very smooth smoke with a pleasing aroma.

This is a sweet, mild and smooth smoke. Its distinctively flavorful, much like it smells - of hot chocolate and coffee. I miss the fullness of tobacco flavor though, which I personally enjoy. Because of that, I find this blend too heavy in toppings for my regular taste. I enjoy it as an occasional "dessert" smoke, and people in the room enjoy the aroma. Its a good choice for gatherings of easy friends and conversation, particularly after a good meal.

E.A. Carey tobaccos are often surprisingly good and 50th Anniversary Blend is no exception. A most impressive aromatic with tobacco taste and a dark chocolate sort of flavoring. I guess I also tasted Vanilla but it was off in the background. The two downsides to this blend for me; a little goopy at the bottom of the bowl and no strength to the blend whatsoever.

Love this tobacco. Great first smoke of the day with that first cup of coffee. Works well with any cup of coffee anytime of the day. But coffee really seems to bring out this blends chocolate taste & really makes it a plesent smoke.
