(4.00)
A careful balance of flavors which results in fine room aroma, a complex, yet light, taste and a cool, clean smoke to the final puff. Now enjoyed by a growing number of pipe smokers.

For once an aro that actually smells in the tin and smokes in the pipe as it advertises itself, in this case sugar. And by this I mean amusement park cotton candy that makes you wonder for an instant whether you should eat it off the tin or take the time to smoke it. Yet, oddly enough, it's not cloying when smoked, just satisfying, uncomplicated and flavorful. As others mentioned, no bite and no fuss. My two ounces arrived very wet but that was resolved with a couple of days of drying out. Dick must have used real sugar here somewhere as the tobacco was sticky to the touch. The casing is not problematic, however, and some drying and time in the rotation container preps it for smoking, improves its "handling" and it's off to the races. Highly recommended for those who like sweet aros.

I usually shy away from aromatics and normally smoke English style blends. HOWEVER, this stuff is great!!!! I smoked my first bowl in a Meer and loved it. Great flavor, no tongue bite at all, and the aroma of the tobacco translates well to the taste. If you are an English blend smoker and are looking to mix things up with an aromatic you will not be disappointed.

One of my all time favorites. Tops in the daily rotation since we met. The Chief is a wonderful, intelligent tobacconist as well. Cheers!
