Timm No Name Schwarz
(2.00)
Friendly, rather bright Virginia mixture with a little black cavendish. A well balanced vanilla flavour makes for a gentle treat all the way to the bottom of the bowl as well as a cultivated room note.

Good day!
Here we are with another tobacco from Timm's No Name line. It comes in a 200g bag only. The bag or “tin” note is sweet vanilla, nothing special. The cut is ribbon with few bright virginia cubes. The tobacco mostly virginias and some cavendish but mostly virginia. The moisture is to the touch is good, but even if it look like that it will need a lot of drying for some reason otherwise it will be unpleasant and will produce a LOT of moisture in your pipe.
Thanks to the cut it packs and light well, doesn't need relights burns well. Burns in moderates pace, neater burns hot nor cool, just in the midle. In the end will leave bihind some gray fine ash, no leftover but the moisture amount in the end is insane if you did not dryed it well, eatherwise there will be some. If you manage to overheat it it can bite from an unfileterd pipe otherwise it not a problem.
The taste is mainly from the virginias, sweet hay like notes, the black cavendish provides the vanilla whitch is not to agressive but it is there. The combination of thouse provides somewhat of the thaste of a good scone with some floral notes.
I can see in it the potential, but it needs some improvements. It can be an all-day smoke. It can benefit a lot form a p-lip pipe. I can just somewhat recommend it, and almost fails to be in that category. I went thrue a lot of experimenting to get good results but when I found it was worth it. The big bag once again is real draw back. All in all the weiß is better...
Sorry for the bad grammar, English is not my first language, I hope it is still understandable.
Happy piping, enjoy your smoke!
