I recently picked up a few old vintage blends of tobacco in a "bakky swap" with a friend. Curiosity got the best of me with a tin of Charatan's Black Aromatic that was in the mix, so, I had to open it and start smoking a bowl. It has both black and brown Virginia ribbon in it. I'd call the black leaf Virginia Cavendish because it was really stoved and some kind of blueberry/wine taste came through in the background as I smoked. Very pleasant and since it's from the old days in England (only natural and no artificial flavorings were allowed), it's only a very mild taste of something other than tobacco that I am getting. I really like it but don't tell anybody as that could spoil my image further - if that's possible. (-;
