Kohlhase, Kopp und Co. KG Limited Edition 2009
(4.00)
The sweetish and creamy smell of softly melting caramel is rather guarded while smoking, but the nose is irresistible. Carefully composed Virginia tobaccos in different cuttings play the main role with colour shades from golden via reddish to brownish: the whole range of exquisite Virginias was joint. Cautiously mixed with nutty burley and a hint of black cavendish, one of the finest Virginia blends was born charming by its subtlety.

When you first open this tin, as with many aromatics, you'll notice the distinct caramel scent. I have yet to discover another tobacco that offers such a full sweetness of caramel without being soapy. This is the second tin I've bought and I will be sad when they disappear off the shelves. Remember to smoke it slow but steady OR it will burn hot and might even bite.

Notes in tin writes Burley, black cavendish, virginia, and caramel. The first test bite my touge, but next i found the way to taste the caramel in the blend. Still recommended this limited edition to newben, and waiting for 2010 edition!
