This is a good ButteredRum. It has the flavor, light on intake and fully rum filled. It is sweet and compares well to Tobacco barn Butter Rum, but this is richer. It can burn hot if pulled hard, so relax and enjoy slowly. It is a nice evening or morning smoke. Well you can do it all day provided you don't want anything else. I like it and can't waitto try more of Milan's offerings.

A very pleasant mix of gold Virginia and white burley topped with two different types of rum. I taste the Jamaican more, which accounts for a slight spice note. The grassy citrusy Virginia is slightly noticeable, the nutty, molasses sweet burley just a little more so. Smoked at a moderate rate, it does well. Only fast puffers will experience a warm smoke. Won't bite. If it has any drawbacks, it's the lack of strength, though it has a smooth, consistent flavor, and lacks harshness. Nice burn rate, too. Leaves a little moisture in the bowl, but no dottle. Needs an average number of relights. The nic-hit is very mild. A pleasant all day smoke. This is the same Buttered Rum made by Sutliff, hence the duplication of the review.

I had ordered a sampler of Milan's tobacco's and this blend was high on my list of ones to try. Very mild golden Cavendish mix that actually smells and tastes like rum! Family enjoyed the room note and I could taste the tobacco under the casing. Really enjoyable aromatic that gets 3 stars. I agree that the only drawback for me was the strength and that keeps it from getting a 4th star.

Eh... burns too hot for me and has a little bite. If you want a smooth rum, definitely go with Sunset Rum by Milan.
