I've found this tobacco pleasant on it's half and last part. The thing on the beginning is the peach flavor that when starts burning delivers a slight acidic taste that dries your tongue (I believe the cause is the artificial flavoring) - and I particularly feel it compromises the appreciation of this experience. Overall its a good tobacco with sweet Virginia and mild nicotine during the smoking (almost like a caramel-peach-cardamom flavor), it has moderate humid leaves and it burns continuous on its pace.

Is a good Brazilian Peach flavour Tobacco. Wet and slow burning, but may be strong in Nicotine, not mild, for some people. As many other Brazilian Tobaccos, from many companies, this is sold in a good aluminized paper pouch, that preserves the tobacco.

Now labeled as ''autêntico" this tobacco (Candido Giovanella in general) is often regarded as Brazil's best output on the field. I'm a newcomer but so far I can say I agree. When compared to it's traditional "rival'', Irlandez, this one gets the trophy mainly for lacking the excessive the tongue bite and the bitterness at the end of the smoke.
The peach smell is gentle and not over the place. I suppose this is more Virginia oriented because of the sweetness and fast burning of it.

As a beginner pipe smoker and, so far, a huge fan of aromatic blends, I'm very pleased with Candido Giovanella's taste and flavoring. The peach taste is nice and it doesn't bite at all even if you smoke too fast. The wife rating is awesome, leaving a very pleasant and fruity aroma in the room. For my taste, I totally recommend this. If you're a fan of aromatics, you should give this one a try, specially if you live in Brazil where it's very easy to find and it's cheap.

The tobacco comes very fresh in the pouch and, for my taste, it needs some drying. Leave the pouch opened for 30 minutes before smoking. The peach flavour is strong but it don't bite and the tobacco taste is not eclipsed by the casing, indicating a well cured virginia. The "aroma" in the room is fruity and pleased even non smokers. It may pleasant the lovers of very aromatized tobaccos and is a inexpensive one, but it's not for me.

This is a good aromatic, from what i´ve tried in Brazil this is far the best aro among all blends. Not that heavy aromatic but there´s what they promised, peach flavor in it. Burns well till the end but as all aro u need attention in the cadence or cn bite your tongue. The tobacco quality keep the average company quality.
