Uhle's Blend 33
(3.50)
An old time blend, Burley and English tobaccos with a tad of light sweetness (rum) for contrast.

Nobody does Burley better than Uhle's. And this famous old shop also has some remarkably good blends that many people have not heard about or tried due to Uhle's "niche" market. Back in 2008 I discovered this hidden treasure and purchased what was, at the time, tins and bags of all of their blends. I hope these Uhle's reviews will open the door for you to some really good stuff!
Blend 33 was remarkable, Orientals abounded along with Burley and some Latakia. A light Rum flavoring was added and the presentation was Oriental forward, Burley Cavendish that was backbone building and the Latakia and Virginia stayed in the background. Even bodied, cool and refreshing with an old world flavor.
