I picked up a pound if this blend to try it out. It smelled similar to Z-50, which was unavailable to me at the time. Jar aroma was tolerable.
The black cavendish packed easily - actually you have to be careful not to overpack it, because it will become a mess. Just use a tamper to keep it even, don't press down on it.
Black cavendish is not always easy to light, and this is no exception.
Taste was fairly bland by my standards, until I accidentally got it a bit hot through puffing faster to keep it burning. Overheating it rewards you with a wonderful soapy taste. Reminds you of your childhood days when you got caught uttering a word you shouldn't. I personally do not like to taste soap, but if you do, this may be the blend for you!
Overall, this was a disappointment. In fact, I couldn't even give it away. When somebody sampled it, and I offered them the whole jar, none took me up on the offer. I threw away about 14 ounces if it.
