The mildness of this blend's vanilla flavor and aroma reflects its aging in the essence of sweet vanilla.

Mild Mild to Medium Mild to Medium Very Pleasant

This is indeed the best of the budget vanilla blends. Packed loosely it burns relatively dry and is not bitey (to me at least). This stuff is mild, sweet, and smells great (as long as you love vanilla). If you are on a budget, all of the Royal Guard blends will do quite nicely. I like to blend this with the Rum, at three parts Rum, to one part Vanilla. Very nice in a cob, with a cup of Java!

This only comes in a 12oz bag, and since someone had to try it I decided to give it a go. In 2004 I got the 12oz bag, with a coupon, for $10. Even withouth the coupon its less that $1 an oz.

First, the description of this on Stokkebye's website is exactly the same as their Vanilla Creme, but they are not the same tobacco. For the money, this is actually quite good. The tobacco is better quality than the Prince Albert, Smoker's Pride, or Admiral's Choice Vanillas. The vanilla is also quite mild, so you do get some tobacco taste.

This is IMHO the best budget vanilla. If it came in smaller pouches, it would be my first choice for an emergency drug store aromatic. Overall, I've been happy with everything I've tried by Stokkebye.
