Finck's Cigar Company Mild English
(2.00)
O.K., so you long for that English taste, but you want a lighter blend, right? This tobacco was developed especially for you! Slightly more Black Cavendish and Virginia is used to create wonderful taste but a little less strength. A great every day tobacco for the new smoker as well as the seasoned veteran.

The smoky, woody, earthy, musty, incense-like Cyprian Latakia take a small lead, and mostly is a team player with the Orientals. The spicy, woody, earthy, herbal, floral, vegetative, sour Orientals are strong supporting players that challenges the Latakia for the top spot. The grassy, citrusy Virginias are secondary stars. The sugary black cavendish only mildly tones down the rough, sharp edges. The strength, taste and nic-hit are medium. The spice is potent enough to tingle the tongue and maybe bite a fast puffer, so I recommend a slow puffing pace. Burns a little warm with an inconsistent, mildly sweet and very savory, sour flavor that translates to the lingering after taste and room note. Leaves little dampness in the bowl and requires an average number of relights. Not an all day smoke, nor is the name of the blend accurate.

This blend smokes as advertised; it is indeed a mild English blend. Not very smoky, the extra Black Cavendish and Virginia give it a slightly sweeter taste than most English blends. It is almost too mild. This would be a good smoke for those wanting to experience English blends but are afraid of too much strength. It would probably also work as a good all day smoke since it?s mildness wouldn?t become overwhelming or tiring after awhile.
