Sweet Dublin - Double Mixture.
If you want thick smoke you've got to try this!
The blend contains quite a hearty dose of Black Cavendish, and this is replicated in the smokes taste; I get an almost vanilla cream addition from the Black Cav'. To my palate, this seems a lot louder than the Virginia; that contributes a bit of body to the smoke, yet in this case, the flavour from it doesn't seem to be anywhere near as bold; there's hardly any.
Nicotine? If that's what you want then look elsewhere; it's very mild.
I think this would be a good addition to my rotation for an evening smoke. Normally it's a sweet aromatic that fits that bill, but this is sort of an aromatic without being an aromatic: a sweet tobacco without a melange of extra flavour.
Three stars.

This is one that StevieB liked, but didn't love and was passed on to me in one of our trades. Thanks Steve.
This is a mild tasting blend whose best feature is the creamy smoothness of the Black Cav. which also provides some sweetness, a mild toasty note, a hint of vanilla with about a medium amount of depth. The Virginias have a very mild note of citrus and just a bare hint of bread. This has more body than flavor and that's where it falls short for me. The flavor it does provide is pleasant though. Not a bad smoke, just not my kind of blend.
Body is mild to medium. Flavoring is extremely mild. Taste is mild. Burns very well.

Sweet Dublin Double Mixture (the Red/bordeaux coloured one) is a tad lighter than the Sweet Dublin (yellow) available in United States, and probably all over the world.
It is heavier on the black Cavendish than Sweet Dublin Irish Whiskey, and furthermore, the apricot (not whiskey) flavour has been left out. Have you had the luck to try Porter House from Orlik as well as this, you will find this a lighter version of this but without the burley.
It tastes warm, soft caramel-like and musty with hints of freshly baked short bread (no vanilla), but the nicotine level is way too light to satisfy me.
A good cross-over blend for neophytes who seek a blend that doesn't bite, nor kicks.

Much darker than Sweet Dublin Irish Whiskey Mixture (yellow) due to approx. 50% Black Cavendish, presented in a ready rubbed style. The BC was most likely sweetened in the process of making it, however, I could not detect any additional casing or top flavor. It is extraordinary mellow and easy to smoke. A no-brainer. Two bowls in a row made me dizzy once, so it doesn’t completely lack nicotine.
There is nothing wrong with this bend, except maybe that the mild taste and feel lacks anything to be craving for. If you like your bagel plain, with nothing on it, this might be for you.
Pick the yellow for Virginia plus casing, white for Burley with minor casing, the red for Black Cavendish without extra topping.
