A very pleasant mix of gold Virginia cavendish and white burley topped with butter and rum. I taste the rum more. The toasty, citrus and grass cavendish is slightly noticeable, the nutty burley a little more so. It lacks strength of flavor, but what is there is smooth. Hardly has any nicotine. Burns fairly cool, but can get a little hot if you puff very fast. Leaves a little moisture in the bowl. An all day easy going smoke with a nice room note and after taste.

This blend caught me by total surprise a couple years ago.
Upon 1st light, I was totally bombarded by a heavy chalky butter & rum. Something, at that time, I was not use to.
The entire smoke was mild, no bite. I had no trouble keeping it lit and there was no moisture problems or gurgle.
After an ounce, I realized that I had acquired a taste for this blend. Although not really my cup of tea, it grew on me. I think what captured me to this blend is it's lack of (or masked) sweetness. I find myself with an ounce or two a year.
I graded this blend as might trying it again, knowing full well, .........I will.
