The almond is more like amaretto, and mostly hides the grassy Virginia cavendish and nutty burley, though the tobacco taste does show up here and there. Has almost no nicotine. No bite. It needs some dry time and relights, leaves a little dottle, and is a sipping blend. It gets a little syrupy near the finish, but the overall, the flavor and after taste are rather nice. More of an entry level aro, but it's also a pleasant enough all day or change of pace smoke. Currently made by Sutliff.

The casing is decent, but the tobacco underneath is rough, harsh and bitter. There are many who avoid aromatics, and this blend is a reason why.

Tongue bite in a pouch. Overly cased, overly doused with PG, this is one horrid pipe tobacco. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone unless I genuinely hated them.
