Jun 07, 2023 Medium Mild Medium to Full Pleasant to Tolerable
The dark fired Kentucky cavendish provides a fair amount earth, wood, floralness, smoke, sweet and sourness, some, herbs, vegetation, spice, nuts, and barbecue as the lead component. Various grades of red Virginias provide a lot of tangy dark fruit, tart and tangy citrus, bread, earth, wood, grass, some sugar, mild floralness, light sour lemon, vegetation, spice and a touch of acidity as strong supporting players. The blackcurrant, apple cider, and apricot casings are listed by their importance as they moderately tone down the tobaccos. The strength and nic-hit are medium. The taste is a step past that mark. No chance of bite or harshness. The rough edges are light. Burns cool and clean at a moderate pace with a very consistent fruity sweet, mildly spicy, floral, lightly nutty, slightly barbecue flavor that extends to the short lived, pleasantly lingering after taste. The room note is fairly pleasant. Leaves little dampness in the bowl, and requires an average number of relights. It may be an all day smoke for the more experienced, and is repeatable under any circumstances. Three and a half stars.
