The bright and golden Virginias provide plenty of tart citrus, bread, grass, some sugar, floralness, tart lemon, vegetation, hay, mild spice, light honey and acidity. The strength is a couple of notches past the center of mild to medium. The taste is just reaches the medium mark. The nic-hit is a slot behind the overall strength rating. There’s no chance of bite or harshness. Has a few small rough notes. The thin cut tobacco burns cool and clean at a slightly fast pace with a very consistent fruity, sweet, floral, mildly spicy flavor that extends to the lightly lingering, pleasant after taste. The room note is a level stronger. Barely leaves any dampness in the bowl, and doesn’t require many relights. Can be an all day smoke or a mixer. Three and a half stars.

Package note of dry hay, cut grass and mild semi sweet fruit. Tobacco is a ribbon cut of yellowish tan, light brown and a little brown. Moisture content is ok, most pipe smokers will want to dry this out a bit. Burns moderately with few relights. The strength is mild to medium and nic is mild. No flavoring detected. Taste is medium and very consistent, with notes of sugar, hay, spices, bread, mild wood, floral, savory, tangy citrus, mild orange peel/zest, slightly acidic, a sweet grassy background note, and a moderately peppery retro. Room note is pleasant to tolerable, and aftertaste is great.
