This is a blend with a subtle whisper of temptation. The notes of cherry and amaretto are not powerful, but certainly make their presence known. The taste of cherry comes first and is followed by an amaretto note that lasts considerably longer on towards the end of the bowl. The base tobaccos burn cool and smooth, and offer a little more nicotine than the usual aromatic.

I definitely recommend this blend for its subtly. It's a calm and relaxing aromatic that makes you ponder the pipe. It doesn't overpower with flavour, but neither does it underwhelm. Throughly enjoyable, but not outstanding. 3/4

Notes on similar blends:
Compared to Missouri Meerschaum's Great Dane this is much more subtle with the cherry flavour. The amaretto notes are also far more subtle compared to Sutliff or Cobblestone's Amaretto. Overall, I think Cobblestone's Amaretto is the best of the bunch, but if you are looking for an additional cherry note then Taste of Temptation is the way to go.

Tin note of amaretto, cherry and brown sugar. Tobacco is a ribbon cut of light brown, brown and a little black. Moisture content is ok, most people will need to dry it a bit. Burns slow with a few relights. The strength is mild to medium and nic is mild. Flavoring is medium, with notes of cherry and amaretto. Amaretto is the stronger of the flavors and dips to background territory withing the first 1/4. Cherry starts and remains in the background. Taste is mild to medium and moderately consistent, with notes of amaretto, wood, spices, bread, mild cherry, brown sugar, graham crackers, tart and tangy citrus, sweet grass/hay, almost creamy, earthy, savory, nutty, a stewed ripe fruit background note, and a smooth retro. Cavendish is leading with Flavoring and Virginia supporting. Room note is pleasant, and aftertaste is good.
