The white and dark burleys offer some nuts, earth, wood, bread, slight sharpness, and a touch of sugary molasses as the lead components. The gold Virginia cavendish provides light tart and tangy citrus, grass, toast and floralness as a supporting player. The sugary black cavendish is mostly a flavor carrier is the third slot. A variety of toppings tone down the tobaccos without totally drowning them out. The pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, all-spice and buttery, sugary rum lead the way with a light vanilla accent in the background. The strength level is medium. The taste is a step past that mark. The nic-hit is in the center of mild to medium. There’s no chance of bite or harshness, and barely has any rough notes. Mildly moist, it burns cool and clean at a slightly slow pace with a mostly consistent sweet and spicy, light floralness that extends to the moderately lingering, pleasant after taste. The room note is pleasant. Leaves little dampness in the bowl, and requires a couple more than an average number of relights. Can be an all day smoke for the veteran aromatic smoker, and repeatable for the less experienced. Three and a half stars.
