The very nutty, earthy, woody, sharp white burley is the lead component. The bright Virginia offers some very tart and tangy citrus, grass, bread, sugar and floralness as a supporting player. The sugary black cavendish is mostly a flavor carrier. The rich caramel and butterscotch toppings take a fair lead over the apple. They moderately tone down the tobaccos. There are no artificial, syrup or chemical notes. The strength and taste levels are a couple of steps past the mild mark. The nic-hit is mild. It won’t bite or get harsh, and is rather smooth. Mildly moist, it needs no dry time. Burns cool and clean at a moderate pace with a very consistent mildly sweet, lightly floral, nutty flavor that extends to the short lived, pleasant after taste. The room note is very pleasant. Leaves little dampness in the bowl and requires an average number of relights. An all day smoke. Three stars.
