The very nutty, earthy, woody, sharp white burley is the lead component. The bright Virginia offers some very tart and tangy citrus, grass, bread, sugar and floralness as a supporting player. The sugary black cavendish is mostly a flavor carrier. The rich, tartly sweet cherry topping fairly tones down the tobaccos without drowning them out. Has no artificial or chemical notes. The strength is a couple of steps past the center of mild to medium. The taste is a notch ahead of that, but doesn’t reach the medium threshold. The nic-hit is a couple of slots past the mild mark. Won’t bite or get harsh, and barely has a hint of a rough edge. Burns cool and clean at a moderate pace with a very consistent tart and tangy cherry, mildly sugary, nutty, floral flavor that extends to the lightly lingering, pleasant after taste. The room note is very pleasant. Leaves little dampness in the bowl as this blend isn’t as moist as expected. Requires an average number of relights. An all day smoke. Three and a half stars.
