Cobblestone Limited Pressed No. 22 Crumble Kake
(3.00)
A wonderful mild Aromatic with a base of Virginias, Burley, and Cavendish. The light topping imparts delightful notes of fruit and honey, leaving room for the tart, grassy Virginias, and nutty Burleys. The Cavendish offers a subdued sweetness and rich body. To bring it all together, the blend is pressed into a Crumble Cake, bringing all these notes into perfect harmony.

Cobblestone - Limited Pressed No.22 Crumble Kake.
It presents as slithers of kake, unlike a single block or two. It's very dark in colour and has a honey-sweet aroma. The slices of kake break up easily, they aren't too wet either.
It comes as no surprise, from the colour, that there's a good amount of black Cavendish in the smoke. The Burley takes second place, there's more of the nutty Burley than Virginia. The Va isn't smothered, though. It offers a ''whisp'' of fresh grass, making the smoke seem brighter. The toppings? Honey rules. The honey gives a very sweet yet slightly floral/fragrant flavour. The fruit is much lighter, a scintilla of berries/dark fruit, but not enough to really give the honey a run for its money. I've found no qualm with the burn, it's steady and quite slow. Despite having a clear added flavour, it hasn't bit me.
Nicotine: maybe above mild. Room-note: nice.

Tin note of stone fruit, sugar and spices. Tobacco is a Krumble Kake of marbled dark brown and black. Moisture content is great. Breaks apart and rubs out easily. Burns slow with a few relights. The strength is mild to medium and nic is mild to medium. Flavoring is mild to medium, with notes of Strone Fruit (Apricot?) and Honey. Honey lasted the longest and at the 1/2-way point was in the background. The apricot like flavor became sporadic at the 1/2-way point. Taste is medium and mostly consistent, with notes of stewed apricots, brown sugar, honey bread, mildly savory, bitter orange, dry, tangy dark fruit, earthy, spices, mild molasses, acidic, marshmallow, wood, hay, a sweet grass background note, and a moderately peppery retro. Cavendish is leading with Flavoring, Burley and Virginias supporting. Room note is pleasant to tolerable, and aftertaste is good.
