Ken Byron Ventures The Endless Void 2021
(4.00)
The Endless Void returns as a mixture of all-vintage Virginias including flue cured, sun cured, and fire cured varietals. Only 30 pounds of this mixture were able to be produced because it was made from scarce vintage tobaccos.

The vintage, fermented flue cured, sun cured, and fire cured Virginias provide an abundance of tangy dark fruit, earth, wood, bread, sugar, some zesty tart and tangy citrus, grass, vegetation, mild sour lemon, spice, light smoky barbecue, and a touch of acidity. The strength, nic-hit, and taste levels are medium. There’s no chance of bite or harshness. Sports a few small rough edges. Well balanced, complex and deeply rich, these vintage tobaccos burn cool and clean at a moderate pace with a very consistent, matured, fruity sweet, mildly sour, floral, spicy, punchy flavor that translates to the pleasantly lingering after taste. The room note is a little more potent. Leaves little dampness in the bowl, and requires an average number of relights. Can be an all day smoke. Four stars.
