The matured bright Virginia provides a burst of tart and tangy citrus, grass, sugar, mild floralness, acidity, and a couple pinches of spice as it takes a small lead in the proceedings. The earthy, woody, nutty, sugary burley black cavendish is an important supporting player. The vanilla creme topping takes a little of the lead over the honey and butter. There’s a light fruitiness in the background from another topping as well. The toppings fairly sublimate the tobaccos. The strength and nic-hit are a step past the center of mild to medium. The taste is almost medium. No chance of bite or harshness, and has no rough edges. Burns cool and clean at a moderate pace with a very consistent, deeply rich sweetness that extends to the pleasantly lingering after taste, and room note. Leaves little dampness in the bowl. Requires a tad more than an average number of relights. An all smoke. Three and a half stars.
