This is surprisingly a very nice virginia if you are into bready earthy tangy varietals versus sweet and citrus. The burn is nice with minimal drying, no topping that i detect but it have that sutliff sweetness that is associated with many hearth and home offerings, certainly american school of blending and good one at that. No tongue bite and unlike the recommended pairing i found it to smoke well with coffee, the price is right too. Give it a try you may find it interesting. Really interested to see what perique would do to this mix.
