Cobblestone - Cafe Vanilla Latte.

I'd describe the blend as more of a mixture than ribbon. The tin includes a few rather coarse pieces, the majority of the ribbons are well-built. The aroma lets you know it's a sweet, coffee aromatic. This is from May 2021; the paper insert is a little stained.

There isn't any mistaking this is a vanilla/coffee aromatic. But as well as the sticky drink, there's also a kind of ''wafer'' flavour. The tobaccos are a little more buoyant than in a lot of heavy aromatics. I don't get swamped with cloying black Cavendish, but get a lot of quite unrefined Burley, and a light, fresh flavour of Virginia. It doesn't bite, the smoke's cool.

Nicotine: mild. Room-note: nice enough.

Cafe Vanilla Latte? Four stars:

Highly recommended.

The earthy, nutty, woody burley is the varietal that stands out the most. The citrusy, grassy Virginia is a secondary player. The steamed, toasted black cavendish adds a sugary smoothness to the mix. The dark roasted espresso topping edges out the creamy vanilla essence, and both moderately sublimate the tobaccos. The strength is just past the center of mild to medium, while the taste is a slot stronger. The nic-hit is in the center of mild to medium. There’s no chance of bite or harshness. Has no rough edges. Burns cool and clean at a reasonable rate with a very consistent, smooth creamy sweet flavor that translates to the lightly lingering, pleasant after taste, and room note. Leaves little moisture in the bowl, and requires an average number of relights. An all day easy going smoke.

There's some coffee and vanilla, but mostly it's a buttery PG topped cavendish. The PG isn't as wet or heavy as Sutliff Creme Brulee or Capt'n Black White, but it's present and the tobacco is a bit greasy; it dries fine in 10 minutes or so. Great room note, not much flavour. A smidge of toast, coffee, vanilla and lots of generic cavendish. Again, smells good, not much flavour. I can say the coffee is certainly more prominent than the vanilla. A perfectly consistent smoke without a nibble on the tongue. It's fine and dandy, but I will not buy more. Just meh. For the final time... smells great, not much flavour. It may be a 3 or even a 4 for some, but for me it's 2 stars as I won't be returning for seconds. It's not horrible, however I'm disappointed and unimpressed. A fine aromatic to try, but rest assured you won't be missing anything mind-altering (for that, meet me on another website). Cheers.
