The grassy, tart and tangy citrusy Virginias also sport a touch of floralness and spice as the lead components. The earthy, woody, nutty burley has a light molasses that barely peeks through as a supporting player. The whiskey topping has a light smokiness, and a pinch of spice as it fairly sublimates the tobaccos. The strength is just past the center of mild to medium. The taste just reaches the medium mark. The nic-hit is in the center of mild to medium. There’s no chance of bite or harshness, and barely has any rough edges. The tobacco may need a light dry time, though I did not do that. Burns cool, clean and smooth at a reasonable rate with a very consistent sweet and lightly spicy rich whiskey flavor that translates to the pleasant lingering after taste, and room note. Leaves little moisture in the bowl. Requires a few more than an average number of relights. An all day smoke. Three and a half stars.
