The tin note is boozy; a sweet, dark rum. It has notes of cocoa and vanilla. Very promising.
Once you light it, you get all those flavors, but with a creamy, hazelnut flavor from the burley added. Further, you get a taste of rooibos tea. All of the flavors work very well together, and stay consistent throughout the entire bowl.
The smoke has a rich texture. A normal number of relights is needed, and the tobacco burns nice and evenly, leaving just a bit of moisture at the bottom of the bowl.
It might benefit from smoked a bit faster than your general "sip carefully" tobaccos, but I did not find it to burn hot even when drawing a bit deeper.
This tobacco would be great with your morning cup of coffee, or with (or instead of) a dessert after a meal. It can definitely be an all-day smoke.
This is a tobacco I would recommend to beginners as well, as it is very forgiving and with a pleasant flavor, and a more than pleasant room note.
My wife got me a 12 ounce tin of this, and I'm sure I'll get many more of those in the future.

For an Aromatic, the needle points to the mellow side of the vanilla dial. The aroma is not ultra sugary (as with some heavily topped black Cavendish), but rather a muted Windmill cookie.
This neither threatening, nor distinct soft mix has an element of Grandad's pipe tobacco. A dusty pouch that ticks off all general taste buds, burns with simplicity and leaves a lingering smoke that soaks into the surrounding room over the years.
This could be an all day smoker, but be mindful it doesn't really develop much.

Easy smoking, lightly sweet, lightly nutty, lightly textured, may leave some puffing harder to try to get more body and flavor from the smoke, but for those looking for something mild and pleasant, this fits the bill

First off I am not a fan of aromatics so this is a biased review. I got a pouch of this for free from P&C with my last order. I decided to try this with my evening coffee. The smell out of the pouch is quite mild with a hint of vanilla. The tobacco packs well and burns well. It was not wet like a lot of aros can be. The burley is very mild to non existent .The taste of the vanilla and hints of chocolate are way more pronounced in the taste wile smoking then the pouch smell. So if you like the taste of tobacco with a hint of aro flavoring then this is not for you, Like most aromatics I get that artificial chemical after taste. To me its very off putting. Its bite free though and does smell nice if you are worried about such things. Ive smoked MUCH worse aros and better ones. The biggest downside to this tobacco though is the price. As of my review P&C has it for $6.29 a 1.5 oz pouch. Lets do some math ....6.29 x 16 = 100.64 . Its a 100dollars a pound! No way this tobacco is worth that much. There are plenty of better tobaccos you can get in bulk for a fraction of what this cost. Even if you are a huge aro fan pass this stuff by unless you can get a pouch for free like I did.

This is one of the pouches I got for three dollars on sale at pipes and cigars. I reviewed the other two and they were pretty OK. I packed this pouch for a work trip where I would be too smoke an aromatic.
The pouch note had an alcohol, boozy, vanilla, raisin aroma to it. Much like the other two in the series this one is not sticky or wet. Corse prices of tobacco which packs nice in a wide bowl.
The flavor is very boozy, some raisins, obviously sweet, with hints a vanilla. It’s nice and not chemically or with that PG play dough taste. It’s a fine very mild aromatic. It’s nothing special but it’s not bad at all. It’s not overly moist or sticky and the taste is good. Again it’s a mild aromatic. It’s not something I would pay full price for buy. If it was on sale and you needed an aromatic tobacco in a pouch this would be OK.
