With Kohlhase & Kopp we continue our world tour. The third and last stop will be in Europe. A tobacco from black cavendish, Virginia, burley and Virginia flake. The whole with all kinds of aromas, typical for Europe: English mint, Spanish orange and a hint of cream from the Alps.

The best aromatic that I've ever smoked.

I started with Connoiseur's choice from Peterson, years ago. During the years I smoked many aromatics. Each one had some flaw. Usually you don't feel the tobacco under the aromas. Or the aromas are weird. Or the underlying tobacco is unnecessarily strong. Then one day I went to a Holtz Pipe shop in Frankfurt, Germany, where a gentleman seller gave me a sample bag of this blend, claiming that it is the highest quality leaf, with the best selected aromas. I did not believe and flew home with it.

After trying it out, I was shocked. He was right. This has everything. You can taste the quality tobaccos used, and all the described aromas are there too! It burns perfect, smokes beautifully from start to finish anddoes not get extra hot or bites. I could immediately feel cream, very sweet and smooth. Also the oranges, nicely fragrant but not overwhelming. After sime time I developed my nose to even feel the mint in there. When I smoke this somewhere, people tend to comment on the heavenly smell and ask what is that.

Really, I salute this. Well done Kohlhase& Kopp. This is perfect. although a bit pricey.. :-)

Mild Medium Medium Pleasant

After the "Winter Time (2018) (Kohlhase & Kopp Limited Edition series)" was no longer available, I tried this tobacco.

At the beginning I was sceptical about the mint. But I only noticed the mint as far as the smoke felt very refreshing. That was quite a positive surprise.

This tobacco is quite expensive and of high quality. A pleasant alternative, but I wouldn't take it a second time anyway.
